Currently I am adding links to the various pages that will be available here. Content is not online for the new pages. Please stay tuned!

Baseball has had a long and interesting history in Tacoma. The goal of this section is to give the reader a general overview of the players, owners, and facilities that are part of the fabric of Tacoma's Baseball history. The history is currently starting in 1902 and is current through the 2006 season. I will not be putting much detail into the modern teams and facilities as that is not the focus of this web site. I have included links on the links page to various sites that provide modern Baseball information if you are interested in finding out more on Tacoma's current Baseball situation.

Tacoma was the Pacific Coast League Champions in 1904, 1961, 1969, 1978(co-champions) and 2001(co-champions). Tacoma is currently the longest running city with a team in the PCL.

Tacoma played in the Western International league in 1922 and from 1937 to 1942 and from 1946 until 1951. The Tigers were the league champions three times 1937, 1939, and 1940.

I am always looking for more details to help fill out the information. If you have anything that you feel would be of interest please email me and I will be happy to add the information to the site.
